Roof Replacement and Refurbishment

The primary objective of this refurbishment was to upgrade and enhance both the structural integrity and visual appeal of an existing farm building. The focus was on modernising outdated materials and ensuring long-term durability.

Key features

  • Asbestos Removal:
    The original asbestos roof and side gable  sheets were safely and professionally removed in accordance with current health and safety regulations.
  • Recladding with Modern Materials:
    The building was reclad using big 6 profile fibre cement sheets  offering improved weather resistance, insulation, and a sleek, modern finish.
  • New Flashings
    All existing flashings were replaced with new, durable materials that complement the updated cladding.
  • Upgraded Guttering System:
    A Plygene gutter  system was installed to ensure efficient water drainage, particularly suitable for large roof spans and high rainfall areas.
  • New Sliding Doors:
    Supply and  was fitted to replace the old damaged door and to enhance the overall uniformity of the building’s exterior.
