Our History
Established in Market Rasen in 1986, Rowley Boulton built the business on his experience in estate management, farming and the steel industry. Starting from The Old Station goods yard, he grew the company into a trusted supplier of structural steel, steel sheets and merchanting products, supported by leading UK steel suppliers including Kingspan (formerly Wards).
Early customers included RAF Waddington, where the company supplied steel materials for the refurbishment of the camp’s munitions building. Today, Rowley remains at the heart of the family business, sharing his knowledge and experience with his sons, Matthew and James, as they continue to deliver quality steel solutions across Lincolnshire and the UK.
Our Growth & Team
From 1990, Matthew and later James joined the family business, helping expand its expertise from agricultural steelwork into industrial and commercial construction. Today, the company delivers projects from small repairs to major developments, valued from £2,000 to £2 million, built on strong client relationships and a commitment to quality.
In 2021, Chris Jackson joined as Project Manager and progressed to Operations Director, bringing expertise in process improvement, strategic planning and business development. Supported by a growing team of skilled professionals, the business continues to evolve, delivering reliable construction and structural steel solutions across the UK.
